2.4 You have the right to receive the personal data regarding yourself, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transmit such data to another controller without hindrance, if processing is based on your consent or the processing was carried out by automatic means.

2.5 If you have given your consent to the use of your data, you can revoke your consent at any time.

2.6 If we process your personal data based on legitimate interests, you can object to this processing.

3. DATA SECURITY

We take technical and organizational security measures to protect the data relating to you, which we handle, against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons.

4. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA DURING INFORMATIONAL USE, COOKIES

4.1 When you use our website for purely informational purposes, i.e. if you do not go beyond merely using the website, namely by contacting us or otherwise transmitting information to us, we collect usage data, which your browser automatically transmits, to enable you to visit the website. Such data are only stored for system-related and statistical purposes (based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR), and, in exceptional cases, to report criminal offenses (based on Art. 6 (1) lit. e) GDPR).

4.3 Furthermore, cookies are stored on your computer when you use the website. Cookies are small text files, which are stored on your hard drive and are associated with the browser you use and provide information to the site that places the cookie (in this case us). Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. The purpose of cookies is to make our offerings more user-friendly, effective and secure. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies,” which are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser when you next visit us.

5. COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA UPON CONTACT AND FOR ADVERTISING PURPOSES

5.1 Personal data (including, e.g. your name, telephone number and e-mail address) are collected and processed if you expressly provide them to us to establish contact. Such personal data are used solely for the purpose of processing your inquiries, based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

5.2 Your personal data are only used for advertising purposes under the condition that you have previously granted your consent, based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. The data stored by us for the purpose of your newsletter subscription will continue to be stored by us until you cancel your subscription and will be erased after you cancel your subscription to the newsletter.

6. COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA FOR ORDERS

Personal data are collected based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR if you send them to us voluntarily to implement a contract. Without your express consent, such data will solely be used to implement the contract and process your requests. After full performance of the contract and full payment of the purchase price, your data will be retained for the periods required by tax and commercial law and erased after the expiration of these periods.

7. COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA FOR JOB APPLICATIONS

We also collect personal data when you apply for a job with us. We need such personal data to conduct the application process, including setting up an electronic job application file, handling your application and organizing job interviews. In short, the processing of your personal data is a prerequisite for concluding an employment contract with you. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

8. RECIPIENTS/CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA, DATA TRANSFERS TO THIRD COUNTRIES, THE LEGITIMATE INTERESTS WE PERSUE

8.1 Your data will not be disclosed to third parties, except for the service providers that we have hired to process data within the scope of this Data Protection Policy, e.g. within the context of order processing.

9. LENGTH OF TIME FOR WHICH PERSONAL DATA ARE STORED

When your data are no longer needed, it will be erased after the expiration of the retention periods under tax and commercial law (this can be up to 10 years for invoices).


10. USE OF MATOMO AND OPEN STREET MAP

10.1 The following data are processed as part of Matomo’s range analysis [Reichweitenanalyse] in pursuit of our legitimate interests (i.e. our interests in the analysis, optimization and cost-effective operation of our online offerings within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f. GDPR): the browser type and version you use, the operating system you use, your country of origin, the date and time of the server request, the number of visits, the amount of time you spent on the website and the external links you used. The user’s IP address is anonymized before being stored.
Matomo uses cookies, which are stored on the user’s computer and enable the analysis of the user’s use of our online offerings. In this way, pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data. The cookies are stored for one week. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is stored on our server and is not disclosed to third parties.
Users can object to anonymized data collection by the Matomo program at any time, effective for the future, by clicking on the link below. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser. As a result, Matomo will not collect any more session data. However, if the user deletes its cookies, the result is to also delete the opt-out cookie. Therefore, the user must reactivate it.
The logs with the user’s data will be erased after six months at the latest.

To the best of our knowledge, OpenStreetMap utilizes the users’ data solely for the purposes of displaying the map functions and caching the selected settings. In particular, such data can include the users’ IP addresses and location data, which may not be collected without their consent (generally provided through the settings on their mobile devices).
